My Grandma Toni just sent this photo of me. Ah, memories. Twirling away, with no concerns in the world. If I had a dime for every time I wore a pink tutu...
I'm ready to twirl my way out of the office to enjoy the long weekend. Why can't every weekend be a 3-day weekend?
Have a good one, friends!

Break a leg, ladies.
You know how parents always say, "they grow up so quickly!" Well, even as a cousin, I wholeheartedly agree. My adorable, sweet, little cousins who I used to babysit - Audrey and Jenna - are growing into beautiful women. Tonight, I'm going to watch them in the Skagit Valley Academy of Dance's Nutcracker performance. As two of the leads, Clara and the Snow Queen, I have no doubt they will dazzle the crowd.Even though I turned my pointe shoes in for dance team pom poms (after nearly 10 years of ballet!), I still have a soft spot in my heart for the grace and beauty of ballet. Especially when it involves people you love! Good luck and break a leg, Audrey and Jenna!

Future Superstar
This is amazing. My 8 year-old self is uber-jealous. Shoot, my 27 year-old self is jealous. My pirouette record is a fraction of hers.
Speaking of dance, anyone want to hit up a hip hop class at Westlake Dance Center? Stephers?

stephanie's happy list
I sent Stephanie the forecast for sunny L.A. last week since we're going tomorrow (and I'm just getting around to posting this, so it's a bit dated) and in response, she sent me her happy list.
I love happy lists.
I love happy lists.
- Mariners’s game tomorrow with 4 of my favorite ladies! (2 of which are my mom and Nana who are riding the school bus down! You can guess the other 2). And yes, Petes is one of these :)
- Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale starts next Wednesday. I’ve already made a list of things I hope go on sale.
- SATC2 in one week!
- My new sundresses that I can’t wait to wear in LA
- The banana in my kitchen that is getting smooshier every day, making it the perfect candidate for banana pancakes this weekend.
- Regina Spektor on my Pandora (I'm so right there with her.)
- Possible date with potential future baby daddy
- Thisclose to finishing a 5-star Sudoku sitting on my desk.
For a little eye candy, I thought I'd also include this rad picture. First, because I love ballerinas and danced for YEARS. Second, because Stephanie danced for YEARS too. Danced right into my heart. (hehe)
