Instant Gratification

Autumn brought her little Fuji Instax camera to the wine and cheese party a few weeks back. Aren't the photos just great? Polaroid-type photography is really the original "instant gratification photography" that we are so lucky to have these days with digital photography. But the best thing about this - you get the actual print right away vs. having to wait until the next time you print photos, which can sometimes be months later.

Can't wait to bring the Polaroid out for Chelanigans!

Dreaming of summer

As I look outside my office window, I can't help but get excited for summer and all of the fun it brings! The sun is out in full force today and there are several sailboats floating aimlessly on the lake. What I would give to be laying out on one of them right now...

Road Trip: Polaroid Edition

Remember all the obsessive posts about our road trip? Well, now you can see (part of) the trip through the lens of a Polaroid camera.

Someone I know has a scanner and has so graciously offered (or was politely asked while I was fluttering my eyelashes) to scan all of my Polaroids. He finished a set, but there are still more to come in future posts. Not all road trip, but all of my Polaroid fun!

But for now, enjoy a few from Road Trip 2k10. Oh, how I wish I had a time machine right now.

Welcome back, Polaroid!

Thanks to the Impossible Project, they have brought back polaroid film! Yay, how fun!

So I have a couple from our day at the pumpkin patch, but I still need to scan them in and upload. (Hopefully I'll get to that sooner than later, but I'm not making any promises.)

I forgot how cool the colors are in polaroid pictures. They all turned out so pretty!

I consider polaroids an old school digital photography - instant gratification.
