Sushi

I grew an appreciation for sushi about 2 years ago. I remember my boss took me to sushi for my "welcome to the firm lunch" and ordered some spicy scallop sushi situation and I wasn't ready for that caliber of sushi. But, I made the best of it and learned that experimenting never hurts anyone.

I don't know why it took me so long to adapt to sushi, but now I really like it. (Well, most of it.)

We got sushi one night at Nobu.

We give it two enthusiastic thumbs up.

We ordered their apertivo which included a drink and three small dishes.*

Now I'm craving sushi.

*We supplemented these small dishes with tacos at a dive bar later in the night. A girl's gotta eat and Nobu was going to be a little spendy to actually fill our tummies.
